Paper Dragon

GOAL:

Create your own character and tell a story.

MATERIALS:

Toilet paper roll
Green paper
2 large green cotton balls
2 small green cotton balls
2 eyes (you can make them from paper)
Yellow, orange, and red strips of tissue paper
Scissors
Glue

LEARNING EXPERIENCE:

This entertaining activity will not only help your little one develop their fine motor skills, coordination of hand movements and creativity, but is also an excellent activity for stimulating their imagination and passion for literature and language.

Before starting the adventure of telling a story, your little one must create their own character. Gather all the materials you will need and place them on a work table suitable for your little one.

Cover the toilet paper tube with green paper. Use the glue to stick the paper to the cardboard.
Glue the two green cotton balls to one end and put the eyes on top. Now the dragon can see!
At the other end of the tube, but on the same side, glue the 2 small cotton balls. Now the dragon can smell!
Glue the strips of orange, yellow, and red paper at the inside and outside the tube at the same edge of the dragon as the nose. Now the dragon can breathe fire!
