Description:
Reflect on how digital tools, so ubiquitous in the lives of caregivers, parents and families, have quickly become integrated into the lives of young children. This session will help you to:
· Learn about what we know about young children, technology and digital media in homes,
· Understand what you need to know and be able to do to be a media mentor who guides your child to safely navigate the digital age,
· Reimagine screens as beneficial tools that can empower parents and engage families,
· Establish a healthy media diet for young children and adults and create a positive media ecology in the home that supports digital age “wellness” for children, parents, and families
