Please share ONE unique parent-friendly workplace initiative that your organization is particularly proud of and has made the biggest impact on your employees.
We are committed to creating a supportive environment that enables a healthy work-life balance. Our standout initiative that has positively impacted our employees is our remote working policy. Allowing our people with the flexibility to work remotely up to eight days a month has boosted job satisfaction without compromising productivity.

Our employees express their views on work-life balance through our engagement survey:
- At my level, I am happy and satisfied with my career at Mubadala. Also, Mubadala is providing a lot of recreational events and employee offers which helps a lot in achieving/trying to achieve work life balance. However, during annual leaves, there is the feeling of being required to be available, but it is understandable for urgent/important requests.
- Remote working has really supported the fact that we could be more visible with our families although working. However, the constant high workload throughout the year makes it difficult to get the required balance, especially when it comes to planning leave and shutting down during leave.
Mubadala gathers and acts on employee feedback through open and anonymous surveys, implementing improvements and new process in response accordingly. In addition, The Human Capital team conducts workshops to directly engage employees in enhancing our HR policies.
